My little artist! Josh is busy plowing through all of his gifts. This is his first masterpiece with Santa's easel, paints and canvases.

Thanks Grandpa for my birdhouse kit!

Merry Christmas!

 Santa Came!

Grandpa Jim's gift of the remote control car got the best reaction of the day. Lots of fist pumps and yelling "YES! YES! YES!"

Aunt Kathy got Josh his own wrestle buddy like Dad's! He has also named him Fred.

Basically, Josh got a lot of stuff! :)

Actually, it was one of the best Christmases we've had in a while. I just didn't take very many good pictures. We got to wake up on Christmas morning in our own home for the first time in three years! We had a great day and holiday season teaching Josh about the Savior and learning from the scriptures and making and doing new and old family traditions! It was great and we hope that everyone else had a perfect day as well!

Christmas Events: Looking at Lights

The Tichenors gave Josh a pack of the neat glasses that you can use to look at Christmas lights and see shapes. He LOVED them. We started with the tree and then took our regular walk around the neighborhood. Every few houses we had to stop so he could trade out glasses. There were snowman, Santa, snowflake and reindeer shapes. Fun!

Gingerbread!

Pre-made gingerbread kits are my new favorite thing! Gone are the days of hard to make gingerbread houses. We used the mini village last year so we opted for the big house and giant gingerbread man this year. No baking, cutting, mixing and buying multiple bags of candy that you'll never eat! Just great! Josh loved it and had a blast.

Christmas Events: Church Activities

Our church has an annual event we refer to as the "Creche" or "Nativity". It has nativities from all over the world that members set up for visitors to come see. This year they had various people and groups perform live music including the kids Primary class. Josh is up there in a white shirt and tie. He loves to sing so he was very excited.

Then today we had a big ward breakfast and Santa came to visit!

Christmas Events: Working with Dad

Lowe's Build and Grow! He made Santa's sleigh, the Sandman's plane and a gingerbread house this month!

Josh and Greg help set up Nonna and Papa's train and village under the tree.
