Christmas Events: Looking at Lights

The Tichenors gave Josh a pack of the neat glasses that you can use to look at Christmas lights and see shapes. He LOVED them. We started with the tree and then took our regular walk around the neighborhood. Every few houses we had to stop so he could trade out glasses. There were snowman, Santa, snowflake and reindeer shapes. Fun!

Gingerbread!

Pre-made gingerbread kits are my new favorite thing! Gone are the days of hard to make gingerbread houses. We used the mini village last year so we opted for the big house and giant gingerbread man this year. No baking, cutting, mixing and buying multiple bags of candy that you'll never eat! Just great! Josh loved it and had a blast.

Christmas Events: Church Activities

Our church has an annual event we refer to as the "Creche" or "Nativity". It has nativities from all over the world that members set up for visitors to come see. This year they had various people and groups perform live music including the kids Primary class. Josh is up there in a white shirt and tie. He loves to sing so he was very excited.

Then today we had a big ward breakfast and Santa came to visit!
