Back Again

Yes, Josh does own more than one shirt. It seems that every season, every time we take pictures, he is wearing the same shirt!!!

Josh still says turtles in the cutest way. I just can't figure out how to write it out :)
We found the cute little family of turtles sun bathing.
If you squint you can see the momma and baby geese in the bottom pic.

And I guess we chose the wrong time of day. We got invaded by an old folks home.
This one lady kept correcting him for calling the baby geese "baby geese"
and telling him they were called "goslings."

Atlanta Trip: Braves Game

Well, this was...an adventure, I guess you could say. I don't know what I was expecting, but I have should have expected just what I got. When we first got to the game we ended up in a crowded area. Josh is still two so we aren't required to buy him a seat, therefore he wasn't guaranteed one. There were four of us, plus Josh. He was going from lap to lap and quickly went through our snacks. We finally moved seats and found a wide area nice and open. He lasted a little while, did the Brave's chant with chopping motion and all, but the game was never ending. Bless the usher who realized my struggles and suggested I take him to the kids area. It's way up on top, but so worth the climb. Josh loved going up and down the ramps, but then we made it to the kids area. They have a dirt base line for the kids to run from "home plate" to first and even have a cushioned wall for them to run into if they are going too fast. Of course Josh LOVED it! It was so much fun. The lady would yell "ready, set, go" for him to take off running. He laughed the whole time b/c he was having so much fun. Now he requires that I say "ready, set, go" every time he wants to race anywhere.

Oh yeah, and we got him the cutest little Braves jersey at Kids Market for only $2!!!!!

Atlanta Trip: Georgia Aquarium

We spent the weekend with Bryce and his family. The aquarium was okay. Josh wanted to run around like usual. This picture above was his favorite. All he wanted to do was stare at the waterfall. He did like the jellyfish though. They are mesmerizing.

Day Out with Thomas

Josh loves Thomas! It was a great day. We had a blast!!!!

Giving tickets over to the station man.

Riding on THOMAS!!!

They had lots of trains to play with as well as stamps, stickers, coloring, mini golf, etc. They had a great gift shop where Josh was spoiled by the Grandparents, of course.

Playing on the yellow train... He was really confused at why the door wouldn't open.

We saved up for a while to be able to go to this. This year we were rookies, next year we will know how to work it. Josh was mostly excited to see the big Thomas and play on the other trains. You didn't need a ticket to enter the event, only the train. So we don't have to buy the tickets next year. They have a little train for only a few dollars that we can ride and just enjoy all the other events. They even have a tent for nursing moms and diaper changing.
