New York City: Day 1

Greg got to go to New York City for a work conference so I got to tag along. We got a cheap plane ticket for me since we planned way back in January! It was so great. I have lots to share so I'm going to do them day by day.

We got there around noon and took a taxi to our hotel. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on the west side of the park.

We walked around to a lot of places.
We ate lunch at an awesome deli and I got a delicious Philly cheese steak sub.
We ended up at the giant Toys 'R Us in Times Square.
This was neat. Greg got to pose as an action figure!

Josh really would have loved this place.
They had a giant Ferris wheel with all different characters. It was pretty cool.

Lego section...

Giant T-rex. He moved and "roared." It was neat but kind of freaky.

Of course Greg wanted to pose with the Transformer guy.

Cool Apple store. We didn't go in but wanted a pic from above ground.
The glass elevator takes you underground to the store.

The Plaza Hotel. Had to take a pic. We didn't go in though. Should have...

Art at the park.

We got to go see Jimmy Fallon. It was fun. I've never really seen a show taped like that before.

We went back to the room for a little while to take a break then headed out for some Chinese food. It was so good. Then headed to the Rockefeller Center.
We spent a while up there. We didn't get any good pics though. Need a better camera for that.
